Local Chapters
The School of Philosophy at the University of St Andrews is a top ranked school in the UK and globally. However, rankings alone do not guarantee a job, especially when you hold a humanities degree.
What we do
Let’s Phi St Andrews exists to alleviate students’ anxiety over employability and prove that Philosophy graduates build fulfilling careers thanks to rather than despite their degree.
Philosophy students are equipped for a range of careers; however, they need to see it to believe it! Real stories of Philosophy graduates’ journey are the most empowering thing a student can hear.
Thanks to Let’s Phi’s network, the St Andrews Chapter organises offline and online talks, workshops and networking sessions to connect current and former Philosophy students.
Getting involved
If you have a Philosophy degree and now work outside of academia, you could inspire young people to consider working in your field! We organise both in person and online events to allow students to explore what is right for them, network and learn what it takes to succeed in a given field.
If you are a current St Andrews student, you can join our team and help with outreach, logistics or marketing.
